Really really solid entry, and such a cool idea for a puzzle game! Keep going on this!
thank you so much for the kind words. i just might :)
Press "Space" to Die, huh?
Wonder if this can actually work in real life.
Joking aside, nice game! Keep up the work!
tried during development, it's a no-go. press 'space' to live works tho! instructions are a lil different irl, instead of space it's a sequential combo of breathe in + breathe out + smile. thank you so much for playing my game, i hope you had fun :)
Love the idea. Love the art. Love the game. Great job, this is one of the best and most charming games I've played today.
you people. you're too good to me. i'm honestly flattered to have left a mark on your day, thank you so much for playing :)
The whole game was very intuitive and well made! Loved the art.
thank you so much :) i'm so glad you liked it, thank you for playing.
Nice game!
thanks!
Wow, this is really a cool game, nice design and style, the only thing is that the human suffering sounds are a bit loud. Very good work
thank you, i'm glad you thought so. yes, i agree, one of the polish points i unfortunately ran out of time for. thank you for the feedback and complements :)
Really fun concept and fun puzzles. I have no notes I really liked your game and think the mechanics fit the theme very well.
thank you so much! i'm genuinely flattered, thank you for playing :)
My brain too dumb. Good game
ur brain not dumb. i'm glad you liked it, thanks for playing :)
Nice work! It's a pretty interesting challenge to make an entire game around the core mechanic of dying. I liked the salt puzzles and how the stiffs were a limited resource so you really had to think before you act.
thanks! i thought so too, i'm glad you enjoyed the mechanics and found it challenging :)
I am happy to see that you also made a game in cold environment. Game was clever and to be honest one of the best entries so far. I loved how simple it was and how hard it became.
i love cold environment type vibes and i'm hype to try your game now. after the competition i've had time to look at it, that is such a compliment and i thank you dearly. "how simple it was and how hard it became" i love that description.
very fun game! Had a great experience playing and the sound effects are goofy and i love it!!
i'm so glad you had a good time, thank you for playing!
This is a super puzzle game, it's a pity that there are so few levels
ikr, i ran out of time! valid and flattering criticism, thank you for playing :)
This was a really nice puzzle platformer. I really like the mechanic of killing the person to turn into a ghost and possessing other people to solve the puzzles. I like the art style a lot and the lighting effects are a really nice touch. It took me quite a bit to figure out the salt bag bounces you back for the 6th and 7th puzzles, but other than that it was smooth sailing which was nice cuz I'm too dumb for jam puzzle games a lot of the time. Great work on this!
thank you for the feedback, i'm glad you enjoyed it. yep i wanted to put a creative spin on the task criteria :) i tried to make it fun and playable for the average scroller but also throw some difficulty into the last three levels. thanks for playing :)
That was challenging! I couldnt complete some of the levels, but I really appreciated the level select because it meant i found myself coming back to it inbetween other games and giving it another crack. Still cant figure 2 of them out though, maybe after some sleep I will be able to solve 😅.
I think the mechanic is really interesting and its well realised in this game. Its intuitive to pick up, but quickly presents some fun problems and leads to 'aha!' moments. This is all really nice underpinned with some beautiful animations. The graphics and sound work well together along with some background elements to create an intriguing world that pull you in.
I had a couple of resolution problems, but i dont think its anything that actually impacted gameplay.
I would really love to see more of this, I think it could be expanded on to see even more levels with new mechanics or expanding whats already there.
nice work!
i'm happy the level select is upping the experience and even more so that said levels are challenging you :) tysm, i'm really with happy how the experience played out. "intriguing world", score! yes i need to look into the resolution thing, it hits weird on some peoples' machines but it seems to be browser-independent? idk i'll figure it out, it'll be changed as soon as i can update the game again. your feedback is so exciting, ty for playing :)
Oh I really like this! The light, the animations, the art, really good work!
i really like those parts too :) ty for playing!
Really creative take on the task. The game looks and sounds great. The animations in particular were awesome. Great job man!
thank you, that's what i was going for :) each area you mentioned was an important one to me, so thank you for your feedback. i appreciate you taking the time to play, i hope you had fun :)
Really fun game, made me think of these old web games I used to play. How would you work further on this?
Good execution!
yes, nostalgia! y'all are ticking all my dev boxes with your comments :) great question, a couple ideas i've had since submission were adding reusable bodies, horizontal Ghost boundaries, and objects that act inversely to levers (events that only Ghost can trigger). that's just a couple though, watching you all play it and hearing your feedback keep giving me more :) tysm i'm glad you had fun.
WOW perfectly excecuted game! The idea is amazing and well polished. Love to see more of this! :D
oh my gosh you are too kind. thank you so much, all the positive feedback may not leave me a choice in the matter of making more :)
Very creative mechanics. I love that there are multiple animations for player death. The puzzle design is quite clever. I really love the level where you have to observe the salt push back logic to find the solution. I like that you didn't tell the player how it works directly and used puzzle design to help players learn. Amazing game!
thank you! if i revisit, more death spritesheets will be my first mission lol. yes that's my favorite level! with two mechanics being the task, i felt that i was missing the mark if it called for explanation, so it was important to me that the mechanics and progression were relatively intuitive. thank you so much for playing :)
