I wasn't very good at this game, but I enjoyed it! Occasionally I got random Game Overs when I don't think I did anything, possibly it was when I was dragging the trees to the train. Nice work!!

I believe this game has potential, keep developing friend!

Clever use of mechanics.  I like how hitting A and D created a rhythm, like a train on tracks.  I'm afraid I wasn't very good at this game, but I still enjoyed it.

The game is true to form. Its a train. There are no problems. 10/10

I'm not good enough to win, but I'm good enough to rate. Well done!

Victory! One question - who plants those trees on my tracks!?

Very cute art )

This was cool. It took me a bit to figure out you needed to alternate A and D rapidly to get going, but once I did it was smooth sailing. I like the art style, I think using the same base pixel size for the foreground and background would help it look a bit more cohesive. Nice work on this!

Cool mechanic! Reminds me of the Pokemon Stadium minigame - Run, Rattata, Run: Where you would have to mash a button then jump over the barriers. Similar concept, but implemented in an original way!
I like the use of the mouse and keyboard, keeping both hands active.
A bit of audio would tie it together nicely, but what you've submitted aligns with the task! Well done!

Thank you very much for your comment. I didn’t know a similar game about Pokemon, but now I looked and realized that my game is really similar to it. I'm glad you liked this mechanic!

Neat little game! I ended up going super slow, taking my time with the trees, and easily finished with a ton of fuel left over. Adding a bit of audio and screen shake would really enhance the experience. Great job!

thanks for your feedback! yes, I really want to start improving the game after the jam, thanks to the comments I now know what I’ll do)

Oh wow, I am not going to pretend that this was very fun but the creativity of mechanics was a joy.

I'm very glad you liked it!

Well, my fingers definitely got some exercise playing that ;P  It's a very minimalist game that succeeds in completing the first task, but I wonder how you'd expand on it?

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for your feedback! I already have some thoughts about the development of the game. firstly, it’s to work on the level design, because now it needs improvement. secondly, I would like to do more control mechanics (that is, do something else in addition to processing wood into fuel), and I would also like to increase the duration of the game itself (by 15-20 minutes)

I struggled to start initially (took me 3 attempts to move at all). But otherwise the game is a nice clear piece of game design, with a distinct art style. Well done.

Petition to replace the no internet dino game with this

Nice game! I love the 1 bit art style. I'm a sucker for minimalism

Interesting mechanic that worked well. I struggled to get the train moving but ended up in the flow of it. I got soooo close to the station, i could see the edge of it but ran out of fuel 😭

The art was nice and the combo of the art style and name really grabbed my attention.

I think there is a cool base here that you could take in loads of differnt ways if you carry it on! nice work!

I'm glad you enjoyed my game. If you get to the station, you will find the ending in the form of a small cut scene;)

Really cool idea ! Artstyle is original and works well.

I'm very glad that you liked the game)

I like the art quite much, it's simple but has so much personality in it at the same time. I would like to see more games made with it!

Developer

I'm glad you liked the style of play, I will take this into account in further development if I make it to the next rounds

Cool and fun game. Spamming the keys with one hand and using the mouse to lift the trees and feed them to the train wore out my left hand.

I think my goal “to get the player interested in the controls” was achieved:)

Very nice!  I like the simple Artstyle, reminds me of Minit :)
