Game Description
Help your ship & crew complete their mission.

How does your game tie into the theme?
Well since the theme is 'tower', I made my game about a tower! A ship that tows other ships ;)

As a huge TNG fan i loved all the small details you added to your game :D I recognized a bunch of the 4x12 pixel characters

Developer

Haha nice! I tried to get some generic characters in there like the Vulcan on the bridge for example but many were inspired by TNG 🫡

Great job on your game! This is a super cute twist on the theme, and a really cool use of canvas items. The minigames could be a little confusing at first, but there was only so much you could do wrong, so it wasn't really a problem. I really like the crewmates walk and the whole nice little package. Well done!

Developer

Thank you! I did struggle a bit with explaining the minigames, there’s limited screen real-estate for text at this resolution :) I figured at least there’s no real penalty for failing, you can just try again. There’s an NPC in engineering who will give you a hint for the engine one which is pretty abstract.

Anyway, glad you liked it!

I love the pixel-design, and thought it conveyed some wonderful images using such little resolution. I did get stuck after hitting 'escape' though. Fun game!

Developer

Oopsie! My muscle memory for quitting a game during dev is ESC and I appear to have left in if event.keycode == KEY_ESCAPE: get_tree().quit() 😅

I’m glad you liked it up until that point!

Rock solid game.

I like the design of the ship, and all the mini-game tasks.

Developer

Thank you! I wanted to include a few more mini-games but I realised early on I may have over-scoped and trimmed it a bit.

sweet and simple, fun to walk around and interact with your fellow crewmates. tasks were pretty straightforward. very charming game. would like to see what a fleshed out version of this game would look like!

Thank you, I’m glad you liked it. I feel like I learned a lot about this kind of point-and-click type game, so maybe someday I’ll take another crack at it :)

I love the art and sound design. The attention to the little details even at such a low resolution is definitely noticeable. Great work.

Developer

Wow thanks :) I’m glad you liked it.

Couldn't find lonely jeffrey but overall really enjoyable! Love the point to move system. Sound design was really spot on too!

Developer

Thank you!

Here’s a hint – on star trek there are these access tunnels between/decks/etc. The crew often have to crawl through them for one reason or another… They’re called “Jeffries Tubes” ;)

Couldn't find the tricoder but it was really fun. Love the simplicity of the low res pixel art.

It’s in sickbay on a shelf ;) Glad you liked it!

Very cute!  I really liked the art and the movement controls felt responsive, too. I couldn't figure out the engine alignment puzzle, and I probably misunderstand the goal there. May come back to this later, as I'd love to see more of the content.

Great first submission to GWJ. Looking forward to seeing more!

There’s an engineer standing nearby who will give you a hint!
