I'm not kidding, if I didn't find a team for this jam then I would have worked solo on a game that would essentially be a 2D version similar to this @_@ I find it cool that at least one other person thought of using TTRPG Fauna as the premise for the game (albeit mine would have been centered around ENReco). This game is pretty much putting ourselves in the shoes of the Holomems themselves, managing a party of 4 of them and going through the dungeons through randomized encounters. Really great concept. I loved that you can reroll, and that it resets per turn instead of per encounter. I liked what you did here. Good job on the game!

Side note: I've actually working on the game even if the jam's passed, if only because I really wanna see how my idea turns out. While the overall concept of Fauna TTRPG is similar, the main gameplay is different enough that I feel okay continuing developing mine and it not looking like I'm just riffing off your work. But again, I'm so glad to see that someone else thought of DM Fauna for this jam, that makes me happy.

One of Fauna's TTRPG streams but it's Saw now.
I suppose it's because you ran out of time, but it seems like no matter where you put your pieces you end up fighting an enemy. The reroll's are good, they allow for some depth of strategy during fights aside from just who you chose when you started. The colored dice are cute too.

I am once again saddened by the lack of story, but I think you did really good on this.

Love seeing an actual game made out of this, the style and visuals are great to see
There's not a lot of feedback, or information at all, for people unfamiliar with how the game works. The roll tables and the health counters are *tiny* during combat, relying too much on small red font to relay whats going on.
I also only ever got fights, despite landing on other squares, I think

Very nice game! The visuals are great, the ambience is there and the gameplay is engaging.

I would be interesting to see this developed further into a full fledged game with a story and more hololive specific references (for example attack names, items and so on)

Improvement suggestions:

- UI is a key element in the game but it doesn't scale well on ultrawide displays. (the reroll buttons are not under the right cards)

- Definitely need to have a separate animation or effect to distinguish healing from taking damage.

- Fallen characters should have their card reflect it in some way. It could be a different portrait, card position or an icon on top.

- In the talent selection phase, I wish I could click on a selected talent to unselect them if I misclicked.

- I'd love some display options like VSync, fps limit and windowed mode.

Bugs:

- I started a fight with 2 characters with 0 HP but they could still perform actions.

- Misspelling the talent names is a sin! They're IRyS (capital R) and Raora (not Raroa).

- I landed on treasure spaces but got nothing(?) and instead triggered a fight?

Ooh, great work!  I loved Fauna's collabs, so it's really nice to see them made into a proper game!  The atmosphere is also fantastically done, it gave me solid Inscryption vibes which are always nice!

I'd honestly really like to see a more complete version in the future with items and more story!  It feels really fun!

Oooh! I'm a fan of this one! Not only turning one of my favorite Fauna collab stream into a game but plus with the Inscryption vibe to it is just amazing, I'm a sucker for this!

I have no further comments aside from PLEASE make this a full game I beg of you!

This is so cool! It's a nice spooky replication of the Fauna dungeon streams, so as a sapling, it was a treat to play. I also got Inscryption vibes from the art and the setup, so good job on the ambiance and art!

The mood of this game is crazy cool. Board games aren’t totally my thing, but I had so much fun playing, I really wish you continue working on this game. Great work!

I really liked the visual style of the game from both the art, and the lighting. I also really liked how the combat was dice based, but you still had rerolls as a resource to give you a bit more control over it.
Also, I think I found a bug. I had some people reach 0 hp, but they were still able to attack.

Cool prototype. Love the inscryption mood and style, with a fresh different gameplay.
Kshut's sprite art is amazing usual, atmosphere/lighting is setup really well. Very visually impressive.
Appreciate the implementation of small actions like dragging the pieces and an actual dice rolling, it adds to the immersion pretty well.
Had fun with this, thanks for making it!

I really liked the mood and look of the game, really well made!
Sadly the first time I tried it I got stuck at the figure placing stage and was confused if I did something wrong or if this was a bug. After restarting it worked as expected.
Still pretty nice

Great game, nice concept, but found a few bugs that got me insta locked and have to restart the game

The mood of the game is reaaaaly cool. Also art made for character sheets was amazing. I didn't find gameplay to be too engaging due to rng factor but overall cool project!

The atmosphere and concept show a lot of promise (heh). Gameplay starts off strong, but loses some steam from unimplemented bits like shop/treasure cards. Would look forward to an expanded version, as what is there already feels fun and interesting.

Bug Note: Having Mumei reduced to 0 HP didn't seem to affect her much. Not sure if it's character-specific or just a general case.

I really like the fact you turned Fauna's RPG system into a game with hololive members. Its pretty cool. Unfortunately I think my laptop is not strong enough to run this game. I can barely get like 10fps. But from the very little I was able to play and the little demo you showed in your video, I think this is great! The atmosphere and realistic dice really makes it for me.

This game reminds me of Slice & Dice and Inscryption. I liked the music and the art style and I find our game is kind of similair with yours, since I also get inspiration from this kind of interaction.

While the damage/heal mechanics are a solid foundation, expanding beyond them could add more depth, especially considering the variety in gameplay seen in Slice & Dice. With that being said, it's understandable for a gamejam since our game meets same problem.

The health bar for enemy is not obvious, maybe need to make it a seperate health bar instead of just text on the card.

I like the camera motion and the realistic dice, the atmosphere is there, anyway, well done!

I liked the music and the art style, well done.

I don't mind RNG but I'm not a big fan of  making the gameplay loop around it, still had fun though!
