There are some neat ideas with the bosses attack patterns, like the bear traps making the player choose between using your bananas to get rid of them, risk getting close and using your melee to break them, or avoiding them entirely, but most of them leave the player waiting around a lot and as a result the fights aren't the most engaging.

I wish the enemies showed when they were going to attack. Felt like it was never a good idea to go and melee them

The game was very fun! It was a bit of a learning experience to lock on and toss bananas at the boss. I almost didn't notice the sounds, which isn't really a problem for the game, but they are nice and could be a little louder. I think the tiger was my favorite boss, the white tiger that shows up was really cool. If there was anything that I think could help make the game better would be that I felt like I was trying very hard to get locked on, it would be generous to have the time it takes shorter. I was more like running for my life to get bananas to throw than to get to fight them.

Cute animal.

Come support my duck hero game.

Interesting game, I like the idea of taking bananas off of the ground and having them serve as both a healing item and the weapon itself. I think something that would make the game better is if you give a little more opportunity for the player to attack the boss. For example, when I fought the tiger and it was laying down all of the traps, I always have to wait until all of them were placed before getting another opportunity. In any case, good job on this game!

Did you actually spend that much on unity assets D:

Your health food is also your weapon!  Very donky kong!

Felt okay to play, the music and sounds were just too loud for my liking, but I liked the concept.

Some good ideas and cute art.

I like how the bosses get faster and their attack patterns more complex as they get lower in health. Healing and attacks using the same ammo is interesting but could respawn slightly faster.

In terms of more detailed feedback:

The player's hit box is too big as you often get hit by attacks that shouldn't even touch you, plus some attacks are basically unavoidable such as the tiger running at you then hitting you. The melee attack is also pointless as in most cases if you are that close the boss is hitting either through an attack or simply via contact damage.

Overall with a little more tweaking and fine tuning could be a really good game.

Great idea with the shared healing and attack resource! And the boss design is amusing! I had fun—great work!

Having your healing and offense use the same resource is such a cool idea. That concept feels like the ultimate boss of resource management, although I didn't feel that this game was quite challenging enough for me to really have to manage my resources thoughtfully. That's not a bad thing though, I really really liked the more casual pace, it fit the cutesy animal characters quite well

Monke. I like the controls and abilities, like the lock on and the banana being a resource for multiple things.

Ah, a fellow monkey enjoyer.  Nice work!

I fought a supersonic tiger for 8 hours, threw a total of 2156 bananas, then it instantly killed me with one claw strike.

10/10

A lot of good ideas in your boss design! Well done!

Game is super fun! The third phase of the tiger fight is definitely unfair though. It feels like it is supposed to teach you about how to lock-on correctly. The problem is healing breaks lock-on, and the last phase of the fight forces you to trade blows and heal in between. It's basically a fight to see if you have enough health after phases 1 & 2 to trade blows effectively so as to win phase 3. But otherwise great game!

Assets are not made by you, nor animations, only gameplay that does not feel good. Lack of sound effects. I  don't mean this game is crap, but is too overrated.

damn actually true. good to know

Nice game!

The art is good, music is nice and BANANA

Only thing is that the melee attack is kinda useless.

Very fun!

Loved to be a gorilla, nice implementation of the theme, really fun to play, if I had to suggest something it would be to improve the melee attack, since it was very punishing. On the other hand, I would really love if you could try our game and give a feedback, sadly we got DQ for uploading a wrong version, but would love to hear what you think about the mechanics. Thanks for the game!
