A very good game! It is very easy to understand and the "in-game tutorial" is great. It was really easy to follow and things made sense.

Well done! Cool mechanics that fit well together! :D

I loved this game.  Really fun, original, and clever.  Awesome tutorial and great skill ramping - it started easy and then got more challenging.  Hope you get to work on this more after the jam.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the compliment! I'm glad you liked it, and yes. There are more updates to come when I have time.

This game was really fun, I love how well the progression felt being eased into everything before the chaos. Im not sure if i just didnt read something but im not sure what pressing the button does. despite that this game is amazing for the time given to make it, and its always good to see a fellow godot game developer. Keep up the good work

I suggest to stop people from spamming WASD and shift, you should make a penalty whenever they hit the wrong key

Developer(+1)

A good idea! I've heard a lot of feedback about this mechanic, so this will definitely me seen in an update! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

pretty enjoyable game!

5 stars across the board. This game is too addicting. It's like an insane nightmare factory Bop-It from Hell. The music loop is phenomenal as well. I couldn't stop bobbing my head.

On a more serious note, the pace with which you introduced the various mechanics was masterful. I felt eased into the madness, and before I knew it, everything had crescendoed into a chaotic, fun mess. Amazing!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for the thoughtful response. Chaotic fun mess was the goal, so I'm glad you enjoyed it!

You have a gift for storytelling through gameplay, otherwise I wouldn't have patience to play until the end. Pretty much the most successful take on the theme that I've seen so far, I don't even know why it just feels that way. One issue is, I'm pretty sure I was able to use all the colors before learning them, which I shouldn't be able to if I understood the game's planned constraints. Still, that didn't hinder the awe of it.

Developer

Thanks for the thoughtful and heartfelt response! I'm planning even more for the story next round depending on the prompt, so I'm really glad that it resonated.  I'll take a second look at the color constraints, but I think it could feel that way since the management system only checks that the shirt color matches the box color, but that's a good note that I'll take another look at.

A strong sense of progression. Looking forward to become a boss one day!

Developer

Please don't take my job... lol

Submitted(+1)

Fun game! Though there could've been a bit more challenge near the end, as you can just hold shift and spam WASD and the arrow keys and it works out. Maybe having each day have a set goal could remedy that. Otherwise it was a fun fast-paced game!

Developer

I like that suggestion! I've seen this type of recommendation from many others, so thanks for the feedback!

the game was fun.
i like how it turns into a throwing simulator from a packaging simulator

Developer

Lol nothing like a genre merger to spice things up. Thanks for playing!

It’s fun concept. I enjoyed the game

Developer

I'm glad! Thanks for playing

I thought it was pretty fun, the music is scratching my brain in a way I didn't know I liked.  Only thing is I think maybe adding a penalty for pressing the wrong key would be nice cause I ended up just button mashing and got a high score of 89. So some way to punish that could be fun. All around though I think it's a solid game.

Developer

Yeah, I've had that note from a lot of people. That is a much needed update for round 2.  Thanks for the feedback!

The game starts off a little slow, but once it gets going, the fun really picks up. If you continue to develop it, a leaderboard would be a perfect addition. I can see people getting really competitive with this one. If you're not already familiar with it, you should check out silentwolf.com—they make adding leaderboards to Godot easy.

Developer

Thanks so much for the recommendation. I am not currently familiar, but I will definitely check it out!

This was fun, I love pushing arrow keys in sequence so this was right up my alley. I really enjoyed it once I had all the upgrades and could hold shift to go through the patterns really quick, I was so bad at the teal one every time. Great job on this, I got 140 boxes with a high score of 27.

Developer

I think that makes you WR right now lol. Teal is tricky haha had to throw a curveball.

i smashed all my WASD keys and got 8 boxes done im proud of myself
loved it nice story telling with the background characters
nice work man!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Excited to see what you did!

Really cool game ! Sense of progression and storytelling works really well ! Great job !

Developer

Thanks for the positive feedback!

I would like to become the cheif operations operator please. Fast paced action as you progress more, but that was kinda nullified by the fact you can actually just spam the keys and get the correct one, which also skips the delay entirely. Interesting graphical style and Wii-style gameplay.

Developer

Yes, you've found the secret mechanic... mash all buttons lol. I'm glad you enjoyed, thanks for playing!

Submitted(+1)

The initial slow button pressing was kinda tiresome, BUT immediately after the first upgrade & management system the game became more enjoyable. Gotta also give ++ points for fun writing and distinctive industrial art style.

Developer

Yeah. That's the one part of the game that I was really struggling to solve. I'm glad you enjoyed it more at the end!

Submitted(+1)

Only got 122 boxes with a high score of 27. Fun concept and the upgrades made sense and made the game a little fun.

Developer

Thanks for the positive review! Your upgrade package is being negotiated, but COO is yours to take!
