Amazing art and fun game. The platforming and instant respawn when you fail a jump feel good. I really like the part where you turn the horizontal bug into a vertical one. Great job.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Very nice adventure game and cute art. Inside the buildings the background tiles could have been more distinct from the floor tiles to make it a bit clearer.
Thanks!
I don't disagree. I may have spent too much time drawing vines :)
Excellent ! Clear and fun experience. Design is super cute, i want more !!
Thanks!
I'll see what I can do ;)
Very fun and cute game, very cool graphics, nice way of storytelling with all the icons!
Small points:
- For the house to the left of the start it was not clear instantly that you could walk through it maybe it would be better to not align the ground lowering with the start of the building then also the insect will walk that way.
- I did not understand how to pickup the vertical moving insects so I had to find a more creative way to get up there, haha, very cool that this is possible.
Thanks! I'm glad you had fun.
The vertical bugs are "the same" bugs as the horizontal bugs (notice the back packs) and since the solution to every other problem is throwing things at other things..... :) (*edit: i hope that this didn't come across as snarky. I am truly grateful for everyone who takes the time to play and comment on my game - Simon)
I'm glad that you, and several other people, have found different ways to scale the wall. It's wild how much you have to account for when you do this sort of puzzle solving game but at the same time when someone finds a path that you hadn't thought of it kind of amazing :)
Haha no worries, I think I tried throwing the horizontal bug at the bean sprout thingy, but it did not latch on. I tried picking up the vertical bugs in the cave but that did not work after I tried it a lot of times. Maybe next time add a "/" in the text balloon and show both orientation of bugs to make it super clear for people like me.
This is an issue I actually enjoyed, multiple ways to solve a puzzle is always fun. Maybe you can use this to your advantage 😇
I managed to get the flower and its a really good journey and well thought out. I think the mechanics are really great and I liked how you can pick up the creatures and throw them. On my first try I accidently trapped myself inside the building and had to restart but other than that it's perfect, definitely a top tier game this round
Thanks!
I'm glad you had fun. Sorry you got stuck. What building was it?
I initially trapped myself in the first building on the left, which contains hay. However, during another playthrough, I discovered that simply pressing down is all that I needed to do. I was going to take a screenshot of it, but I think this one is better
Beautiful art wraps this very polished platformer featuring a traditional fetch quest. I would had prefer a little faster movement as some areas are a little large (I went left first and had to backtrack). Also, in the vertical bugs section, it was difficult to see the red spikes at the bottom, maybe the camera could shift depending on the area. Great job overall!
Thanks! That's good idea.
Get out of here with your fantastic games and give the rest of us a chance! 😅
Sorry... I get excited and then get carried away. ;)
Thanks so much :)
Very beautiful game that was very well done. This is one of my favorites from this round. Good work, no notes.
Thank you! I'm glad you had fun.
What an adorably lovely game. I loved every second of playing this, so sweet and wholesome, and the puzzles were simple and easy to understand but still fun to complete. No notes, this was fantastic
Thank you! :D
And there is more and more and mooore! This is a complete mini game. I couldn't believe how many mechanics there were and the progression with getting closer to growing the flower just felt amazing! One of my favorite entries.
Thanks so much! :)
really fun but i couldnt finish it cause i accidentally softlocked myself here :L

Whoops! Sorry about that... I'm glad you had fun up until that point though :)
Haha, this is funny
I was addicted and completely zoned in, I needed to complete it! Amazing art, and music, and the progression...just five stars across the board.
Thank you!
Games like this really inspire me! There's a crazy level of polish on this for a 2 week game jam. The music, mechanics, and art style all blend in super nicely. The level design was really good. I like the order in which certain times/mechanics were introduced, and the hint system was great.
Thank you so much 😀
I'm really glad you found the hints useful. I hadn't done a puzzle platformer like this before and was worried people would get stuck or have to do excessive back tracking.
Very cute little game! Pure fun )
Thank you :)
The amount of art and content impresses me, I don't actually remember if I've seen a Construct game this well made before. Also, I love the little bugs walking around the map. Good work!
Thanks! The bugs were fun to make 😀
I'm glad you enjoyed it
This was very well done! Played through the whole game and enjoyed every bit of it! :D
Thanks! I'm glad you had fun :)
I thought this game was great! I like that you can pick up like anything on the map lol. I think I may have accidentally skipped a big portion of the game by stacking all of the rocks on top of each other to directly get to the cat ladies house... but that just shows amazing amounts of player freedom! (please do not hate me for accidentally creating speed-running tech) Anyways, good job on the game!
LOL! I just tried it ! That's a hilarious oversight on my part XD.
Funny thing is I actually went to the trouble of coding a mechanic that prevents stacking rocks and then picking them up but not just tossing them on top of each other one by one. Oh well :)
Any way if you do decide to go back and play through again there's a poop joke and a mustachioed villain.
Thanks!
Oh if there's a mustached villain I'm playing it again... brb
Just finished my second run... Can't believe I got scammed by a mustachioed menace like him smh. Also the lady bug at the beginning made SO much more sense this time around lol!
Though it would be funny if the lady bug was just, like, your neighbor and was like " ah crap.. he's gonna pick me again..."
"Another day, another time getting picked up by my neighbor"
Finally managed to get that darn flower!
Great use of tips and love the overall look and feel. Good laid back game.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it
cute and fun game. love the main character.
Thanks! I had fun making it :)
Adorable, complete, and fun! The platforming didn't always feel the smoothest, particularly the jump between the left side of the map and the cat lady house felt a little too far to be comfortable with the provided mushroom on the closest tile. I loved the little puzzles, though; realizing I could pick up the mushrooms and the bugs was particularly satisfying.
Thanks! I m glad you enjoyed it :)
I do wish I had given myself a little more time to smooth things over a bit more. Unfortunately, I let my self go down a rabbit hole of drawing vines and backpacks to put on ladybugs :P
