Very enjoyable. I'll have to come back after and give it a more thorough playthrough.
Glad to hear this, thank you!
fun simple addictive game..
Thank you!
A really fun, and intuitive game, with lots to discover. Great sense of progression. Would definitely like to see more of this!
Thank you for your kind words ~
Such a fun game, really enjoyed this! Felt very rewarding to finally beat Level 20!
Yeyyy someone actually beat the level 20! Thanks for playing ^^
Managed to win even though I definitely really pissed that kid off. Very fun game though, well done!
You're making dangerous enemies out there, beware. Also, thank you for playing!
That kid scares me... fun game tho
Trust me, he scares me too. (but thanks for playing!)
Haha, funny enemy descriptions and art style. It was fun to play. I just wasn't quite sure if it was just me or if the shield wasn't working, or if I didn't understand the mechanics - I thought it was supposed to prevent damage to me, but maybe I missed something. Otherwise, it's great how you made a classic game more diverse/varied.
First of all, thanks for playing! And yes you guessed the shield mechanism correctly, it was unfortunately one of those features I didn't have that much time to test out so even though it should be working it's entirely possible it has broken at some point :') Thanks for pointing that out, I'll check it out later.
Loved the art style and all the wacky cards and enemies. Using rock-paper-scissors as combat logic makes it very easy to understand. I had a lot of fun playing this. Great job!
Thank you! Also, I'm often scared if the games I make feel intuitive enough to play, so it's a relief to hear you felt that way ^^
such a hilarious game, the wiki page got me laughing from the start!
Loved your implementation of it, the flavour enemy text, the choices that felt limiting at times, but managed to in a way portray the essence of the original game perfectly! The losing screen also made me smile :)
Uranium guy was my favourite so far to fight against, with the flavour text and the fact he would kill himself even at ties. Will definitely come play this again with friends this weekend!
Thank you for such a nice review, it makes me really glad to hear you enjoyed the game! And yes the poor uranium guy, probably still doesn't know what hit him :')
(it was him. he hit himself)
Really cool deckbuilder game! I like the rockpaper scissors mechanic with the different card types, it's got some fun strategy to it. I also got a good laugh out of the how to play menu being a screenshot of the wikipedia for rock paper scissors lol. Great job on this!
Thank you very much!
This game is very cool! I like trying to figure it out as I go. Love the card too, and how “how to play” linked to the how to play rock paper scissors article.
Yesss the wikipedia page, I totally didn't put it there so I could avoid writing actual rules haha. Anyways, thank you!
I enjoyed the game a lot!
This is a great rock, paper, scissors game. I like the card stats that added to the strategy.
Another really fun paper, rock, scissors game. You should check out https://itch.io/jam/gdko-2025-round-1/rate/3235674. Very fun to play, also quite brutal. I kept getting non-stop paper when fighting scissors people. I'd really like to see how you develop this further.
Thank you for playing ^^ Maybe I should tweek down the brutality lol, now I basically randomly created enemies and hoped they won't be op. And how funny to see another rock-paper-scissors-game here, thanks for sharing it!
Neat, another deck builder! +100 points just because I know how hard they are to make. Your fun little take on rock-paper-scissors kept me playing until the end. I do wish there were a way to see the deck, remove cards, and skip cards during selection, but I understand how challenging it can be to add more features. No points taken off for that. Fantastic job!
Thank you for playing! Those are great ideas, I must keep in mind. And yesss the balancing must be the hardest part, and coming up with the new cards, I was actually also really impressed by your game and how you managed to create that many effects and stats. I wish to see you on the next round!
This was so fun and funny! It impressed me :D
Thank you!!
It's quite a fun game, it would be great to see an update on this idea, and it would also be possible to work on balance and randomness. I liked it)
Thanks for playing and feedback! ^^
I lost to Ed Scissorarms and he stole my arms... Will expect full reimbursement for damages... (Fun game... the enemies were particularly charming and I had a lot of fun getting destroyed by a deck comprised of only scissors lol. I hope you make it through just to see what else you make.)
Our company doesn't unfortunately take any liabilities of damage caused while playing our games, but we can offer you one (1) rock as a token of apology. (also omg thank you! That means a lot)
I accept the rock... a fair trade if you ask me
Very unique idea. I would add a bit more to the card playing/drawing animation to give it a bit more life.
Thank you for playing. That's also a good idea, originally I just coded the minimum animations and escaped, but if I ever update the game I must enhance those :')
Impresssive! This game aligns with the task perfectly! I had fun while playing this and I was amazed to see the great progression of different cards and levels. Drawings look fun, but would suggest to play a bit with color theory.
Thank you for your feedback, happy you liked the game! And yesss I most definitely should learn some color theory, now I just splashed colors everywhere without thinking too much :D
