Hey! My name's Matthew. I've been organising IRL roleplay and airsoft games for five years, then I switched to digital projects. I've been in game dev for a year already, and now I'm a game designer at lonchme studio.
We're passionate about making narrative PC games and currently working on our new horror P&C project, "Exilium". Personally, I'm doing quest and narrative design. We've been working on this project for quite a while and uploaded a short demo here before a Steam release. You may follow me on Twitter or Reddit if you are interested in such projects.
Peace, nice to meet you all!

✝️ Hi everybody, I’m Santo, the developer of FLIKERIN🎃 and I’ve just published my new game call “SENZA OSSIGENO”which is FREE. It's a short satirical adventure game made in pixel art style, where the player will dialog with grotesque and creepy characters in a dark atmosferic world.✝️
LINK: https://santodev.itch.io/senza-ossigeno
but the sprites made by kenny reminds me of gdevelop's example game: old platformer.
I'm a C++ video game programmer. I have published one game so far called NybblyBits on itch.io.
Hello! Im Unity game developer that just started making games for world! I was making games for like 2 years but didnt publishing it and they was actually really bad but now im making some good games and going to publish them on my account. For now, i only have this game called Witness, its alpha, but i think its not that bad, so if someone will check my game, leave comments! i want to know what should i change to make my game look better! Thanks for reading, goodluck!
Howdy!
We are @DandyMcStebb and @Candleh3arts. McStebb speaking.
We decided to combine my programming hobby with my partner's art skills to create a fledgling game studio. We completed a couple of game jams and have some bigger projects in the works. Candle has a soft spot for retro horror, so I can imagine a few of our projects will be themed around that. We look forward to our future as game developers!

Hiya! My name is Lavender and I want to get into making game assets and create new and exciting things that inspire others to make games ^^ currently I am trying to put together a 16x16 pack that contains everything one would need in order to make a game with. I would love to make friends here and get to know the community so we can help each other learn- I find the game dev community so diverse which is amazing. Every post I read I feel like I learn about something new !
I've been making things in aesprite/photoshop/graphicsgale for years, but I want to try and take things a step further and try and develop my skills to a professional level. I am interested in learning 3D art too and trying blender. Also curious about twitch/youtube streaming art demos... I heard lots of people love to watch others creating things including myself :3-but sometimes my process takes waaaay longer than expected and I am wondering if anyone would be patient enough to watch that.
Thank you itch for giving us a platform to make things and collaborate!~
Thank you for reading my post ^_^
Blessings to you,
Lavender
Hi, I'm Marty, aka offgridgecko or just offgrid. Working on a golf game. I have a page set up for it but waiting to get some more people from my social connections before I "launch" on itch to try and get it a warm welcome. Nice to meet you all though even though it seems this thread has gotten one response in 7 years.
EDIT, I see, nm, they all at the bottom, haha.
Call me dreams. I like bringing my art, writing, music, and code together in…weird little things that I hope will add up to a weird bigger thing eventually. Released my second Weird Little Thing, Of the Firebirds, yesterday. So far just make stuff in vanilla JS, but started to learn Unity a bit last year and will probably dig back into that when I start needing more functionality.
Hello, I am Alex X. I study Game Design at Academy of Arts in my country, and I started with developing games about 2 years ago. I love many genres which includes Horror, Puzzle, Narrative, Action, Adventure and Visual Novels/Text Adventures. 3 days ago I released a real life shot found footage horror game "The Tape", and I am also a creator of Dollhouse, a narrative puzzle horror game set in a house with mannequins which represent dysfunctional family members. Currently I am making a slow progress with a parkour cyber game I am making with my friend, while also balancing my student life, my hobbies which include anime, manga, cooking... with student life and occasional social life (but currently I don't have it haha).
Wow. I've been here for a week and haven't introduced myself... Until now!
Hey guys, I’m Wasabi! I’m a solo dev working on a story-driven pixel art RPG game. I'm primarily an artist/pixel artist, but I have been honing my skills as an animator, composer, writer, and storyteller. I have no prior experience in making video games at all, so I’m prepared to learn as much as I can. As of now, I just released my first game ever, so my goal is to give and receive as much feedback as possible!
Hello everyone.
I'm echo and I want to tell interesting stories with small games! I decided to dip my toes into gamedev with text adventures and I just finished my first game:
https://echooogames.itch.io/cruelty-is-the-point
It's a bit heavy on the subject matter though.
I'm also excited to try everyone else's games here since there's so much creativity going around this place!
You all have a good one!
Left some feedback for you on the game page!
I want to learn more about storytelling; I've been studying it for quite a while now. I admire your passion for writing little stories that leave impacts on people (EXACTLY what I'm trying to do!)
You can try out my game over here if you want, I could use your feedback: https://wasabiiii.itch.io/grass-elemental-demo-demo While the story isn't clear in this early stage of development, it'll make more sense in the full release. Tell me what you think on the game page!
I hope I can learn more from you and other storytellers on itch!
Well you know what, this is my last account.
HI, my name is determination709. (with rj game creator as my first account) and i do like making some games in gdevelop.

I am also like somehow trying to uhhh, beat bad monday simulator in itch too.
I am also a spyer so that i have to ake sure that this community is positive or be positive
stay determoined. okay?
(DIOSHIBA I WILL BLOCK YOU IF YOU WILL CALL ME A KID)
This is the last time I’m going to reply to you.
First, I don’t have to call you one when you’ve already admitted to being in the 5th grade. That makes you about 10 or 11.
These are screenshots of you stating that From this exact thread.
Second, you’ve also admitted to not only making one alternate account, but two. You’ve admitted to breaking Terms of Service and the rules and chose to pick the wrong target.
You have no one to blame but yourself for getting whatever consequences come your way. Time to learn that the world doesn’t revolve around you and all your quotes from Undertale doesn’t mean anything to us grown ups at all.
So let me put this in a way you understand.
Its a beautiful day, birds are singing, flowers are blooming…
On days like these…. KIDS like you….
Should not be allowed to have computers or phones, in fact. Parents should just take them, break them, and force you to go outside to touch grass.
You realize this is still harassment. You just apologized in another topic for doing it. Also you admit in your profile that you've been making multiple accounts to circumvent a ban. (You weren't banned, by the way, that was a temporary warning.) I've let admins know, but in the mean time: people are trying to talk in this topic. Stop disrupting it.
YOU KNOW WHAT?! FINE!!!!!! I WILL NOT DISTURB YOU ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just let me get into that gdevelop jam
Look, if i am banned when i enter a jam DioSHiba will already know that when i will quit this.
I’m also going to add that he went on to the game I worked on (which, I only made graphics for) and he chose to bring this conflict on there.
I only know of this because my team’s director informed me of this through instagram. I deleted the comment and banned RJ/Determination from the game page for Netalia)
I mean, im sorry. look, i think i will tell everyone in my gdevelop jam to stay safe in that community. when the ratings is over, i will show you the link then you can freel ysee my messages.
Hi, My name is JB.
I have been using Unity to make games during my days in University, while working as the director & lead developer of "Team GooCat", a dev. team that made Android game "Drop Cat Blaster!".
Prototype of DCB! on Itch.io
(The early access version of the game could be found on Google Playstore but it seems like the game has been brought down from the shelf :( Anyway the game we have launched on Playstore only supported Korean so... heh)
I like making games that would bring player great stories which led me to learn various things such as character design, animation, story making, alongside with my major, computer programming.
Now that I have graduated from University (Whoo-hoo!) like a month ago, I'm finding ways to start & keep up my personal game project with my own game engine, while trying to get a job in the game industry.
Nice to meet you all! XD
Hello, you can refer to me as Bryson, I create youtube videos online and I'm also currently building a monster tamer game. I'm hoping to be able to work with other game developers and artists in the future.
Here is a link to my youtube channel for anyone interested - https://www.youtube.com/@theofcmedia
Hey everyone! My name is Nocturnal Penguin. I am quite new to all of this game dev stuff but have always wanted to get into it. I am a solo dev at the moment, so I am learning everything. My main engine is Godot and I am learning blender. I would love to meet other people and learn from everyone! Feel free to say hi!
Hello everyone !
I'm Chris AKA Torone. I'm a composer and I use to write music (yep) for table top rpg. I'm about to finish a course where I learn how to compose for video games. I already know how to write perfect loops (check my last video on youtube) and stems (for vertical). I can write electronic music (ambiant or more), orchestral or a mix of the two.
I'd really like to take part in a jam in the next few months to put everything I've learnt into practice on a real project. Send me a message if you're interested.
You can check some of my project here on Itch.io, on my Youtube channel, Bandcamp or Soundcloud. I'm also on Twitch each tuesday and wednesday at 10:30am (CET) and because I'm french, those live are in french.
Have a nice day !
Hello folks! We're a developer duo making Paris Transylvania, a roguelike deckbuilder. It's kind of like Peglin and Slay The Spire, but different! The demo is free and plays in browser. We would love any feedback! Join our development progress and our Discord squad! https://magneticlake.itch.io/paris-transylvania
I don't want to drag this conversation further than it needs to, but honestly you shouldn't have to feel bad or guilty about it.
He violated the Terms of Service and caused problems. At the end of the day if he's going to be a nuisance to everyone and put himself at risk on the internet openly then he neither realizes the situations he could put himself into or understand how anyone reasonable will feel about it. And he should be lucky that someone more disingenuous isn't trying to fuck with him, that'd be worse than us harping on him to stop communicating with any of us or others.
At this point, it's better to put the situation to rest and move on. It no longer concerns any of us what he does.
I'm only posting this for the record since I confronted him on this and got him to outright say it.
While I get what criacuervos is saying that, there could be some uncertainty since we're talking about someone who is only posting written messages, I don't think that RJ was lying about his age since a lot of his behaviors did line up with some kid who has some sort of learning or social disability. This also isn't the first time he admitted that he was underage or in the fifth grade either.
It may have not been right to confront him, however the circumstances surrounding the situation warranted it. EDIT: If anything I'm holding onto whatever screenshots I have of my interactions with him simply because if he follows me elsewhere I still have leverage to point out what issues I had with him and why I want nothing to do with him.
Introduction of a new person (I guess ...)
So i'm Lawrence Disward (Alias with wich the game will be released), i intend to stay anonymous, i have no intentions to become known for anything.
My objective by coming here to share my project and its evolution (And also my experiences while creating it) ! (That'll include the failures, the issues encountered, etc ...)
In real life, i'm 28 years old male and i'm very fine with who i am :D
More infos on my project in the dedicated post i'll make about it !
Hello. I joined yesterday and think maybe I should have earlier.
Over 10 years ago I did a Flash game. It was a lot of work and completely unsuccessful.
Since Flash was dying, I took my sprite engine from the ActionScript and converted it to JavaScript. Then I wrote a parsing engine for it and that's how I created Canvas Language (also called SCL). SCL is an animation programming language. I use it to make GIFs and games.
I'm planning up to 4 more games for Itch since they are mostly made.
I'd like SCL to be good enough for other people to make games with it.
Hi All,
When it comes to games I'm a hobbyist and when it comes to music I'm a professional. I 've been messing around in Unity/C# for about a year. My first upload to itch.io is Castle Moldvay, a rogue-like interactive fiction game that attempts to simulate a late-70's mainframe experience. It's a work in progress and I'm looking for feedback/testers. In the meantime, I'm thinking of writing a simple arcade-style game to show off my music chops... My coding skills go way back to the 1990's when I used to work for a tech firm... I've been in music full time since about 2003. I'm mostly known as a "rock guy."
When making games or games-related stuff I go as Vectory ... when I'm doing music stuff, I'm just Dean. If anyone is looking for a collaborator, don't hesitate to reach out!

We are a two brothers team from Italy, we make 3D CG games and videos plus we have some sort of e-book collection: everything (except the Game Engine and the Graphic Softwares) about our work is hand-made directly and uniquely by ourselves.
If you don't mind, heres a short reel about our work (BEWARE: it contains some NSFW clips)
Hello all,
I'm looking to get serious with putting my ideas and thoughts out in the world in the form of video games. Like everyone I've got that "killer game" idea that I want to make, the challenge is that I need to actually start the journey of learning how to make games. I've set myself the challenge to complete a unity learn course to help me release a small game at the end of 2023. I'm interested in exploring African inspired games and Afro-futurism as themes.
I'm endeavouring to document my travels on here to keep me honest and motivated.
Thanks for reading.
Hi all, new and novice game developer here
I've been playing around Godot Engine for about a year and learned to make basic platformer games, I personally like castlevania (metroidvania) style action adventure games.....
And hopefully make indie games and gamedev projects, share with the community and rest of the internet. (plan to hopefully publish a test game on itch soon)
Happy to finally get on here, share , learn, grow and engage with the community. Thanks!
Introduction: I'm Wade. I write novels, screenplays, and have written for an upcoming AAA game. I recently posted my first little indie game here, which I made for a game jam (see trailer). I'm currently working on a longer game in the same style, different theme/story, which will be going up here and on Steam next spring. I stream as FatGandalfTTV and there are links there to my books, YouTube, Facebook, etc. I'm looking forward to streaming a game I worked on, which is why I started streaming in the first place.
im theapplesguy2 and i mainly code in scratch, an kids language.
i lost my main scratch and iscord account due to an hackrer.
i also made music, and one of them is used in "just a game"
now i made 3 games in itch, and one of them is https://theapplesguy2.itch.io/just-a-game
well--let's see if i actually remember that itch.io exists this time around
howdy, i'm alex! i'm a writer/musician from what's colonially known as canada, and i've been meaning to get into using those skillsets in games for a while. :] i have experience with all kinds of musical stuff (including scoring for a couple games that... unsurprisingly... never got made!), and all kinds of writing stuff (including a couple of abandoned twine projects lol). just joined my first game jam and hoping to do more.
cheers.
Hello,
We are Plisitol, made of Guntha (the one writing), mainly coder, and Biiscuit, on the art side.
I'm a programmer who tries to follow the Handmade principles (Handmade Network); I've been working on a custom engine for years now, which I've used for quite some game jams already.
Biiscuit has quite some experience as an artist, both in physical installations and digital.
We often get so attached to the games that come out of the jams that we keep working on them, adding features, refining the engine, making them prettier, to the point that we realized we had quite a nice little catalogue of polished games, that we decided to release in Plisitol Jam Collection, our compilation of jam games that got improved through the years and for which we are already planning updates, adding more games and improving the current ones.
As Plisitol is our very first commercial release, we would be infinitely grateful if you had any comment regarding the itch page, the price, the video, the games themselves or anything 🙏
We are also planning to release bigger, individual games, which as everyone here knows is challenging to handle when we already have a day job, but we have some ideas that we just don't want to let go!
Hi!
I'm OhoOjo. It's my first time looking at threads in here. I started making games in unity around 2 years ago, I improved a lot imo. I make 2D games, mostly pixelart, but I experiment a lot with mechanics. Right now I work on point&click side scroller and in collab with a friend on tower defence 3D game. I love making art, but got into making games by scripting something simple in JS and now learning C# :)
Nice to meet you all!
Hey All,
I thought I would pop in and say HI! I am ArtStrong and I am new to itch, I have been a dev for the better part of 10 years, worked on many projects, most notably City of Titans :) I just published a couple games to the site I would appreciate you all checking them out.
https://artstrong.itch.io/rage A Third person 3D Mobile and PC game, I made to help relieve anger and stress by smashing all the stuff!
And
https://artstrong.itch.io/the-chronicle A FPS 3D Horror mystery. Best enjoyed with headphones and the lights off :) (Trust me!)
Thanks for the support, and i look forward to getting to know more of you better, and I am always open to giving a helping hand when i have the time. :)
-Peace Art
Okay, so time to put my social anxiety aside and go out and finally make a post....
I have never made a video game before, so I am very new to this. I have some experience with art, including concept art and a little bit of spriting. Unfortunately I have less with coding and music so I might have to make due with that.
I have yet to make an social media accounts concerning my video game creations, but I have put that aside for now. I am still unsure whether to attach my previous art accounts to this, but I have mostly put those aside as they are much older accounts with very old art.
I hope to create a devlog soon for my first project. This would be a short rpg with a simple story but with multiple endings. I just want to get some concept art done... and maybe some more sprites finished, before it will seem appealing to anyone.
As for myself... I have no preference for whatever someone may call me. I am not good with names at all. I cannot even decide on how to design my icon as of yet, but I don't really care for the default. I hope to at least be able to interact with people.
Hi, we’re Fossilpaw Studios, a small team of three indie developers, currently working on a few lower scale projects, but hopefully release something bigger someday!
Here’s our page: https://fossilpaw-studios.itch.io/
Hey everyone, I'm black coffee panda. I'm a solo developer currently developing an online trading card game. Hoping to get some feedback from the community. Itch page: https://piyopi11.itch.io/
Hello, I am fornhimmel. I make music, do sound effects, and voice overs. I've had a few failed attempts at learning programming and building a game of my own using python, I admit my patience isn't there when it comes to learning a programming language but I am happy to offer my talents as a sound engineer and musician to the talented game devs out there. I have some music on my profile as well as an album out on all streaming platforms titled "The Found Mxxtape"
Hi, you can call me Q or Qgamer here, I'm bit of a generalist gamedev - having done things from acting/voice acting, arts, SFX to games to programming and QA. I am enthusiastic about games both as a creator and creative, and currently I'm looking to do some game testing to enhance my skills in quality assurance and product reviews. I have done betareading/QA for some games already and am going to open a YouTube channel to publish reviews and gameplay streaming. I hope my work can be fun and hype others to play the games as well as help indie devs with their development.
Hello all. I am Amritanshu Kumar and I am a Game Developer I currently work as a Unity Game Developer and I also love working with Unreal Engine. I joined itch.io for inspiration for new games and to make some friends to work with them and gain some knowledge about this journey of the Game Developer.
Hi i am rehpic llib and i make final fantasy fan games aka rpg games meet me at https://theboyswithagun.itch.io
Howdy! I'm trying to create a new game development group group called 2nd city games (Unused usernames are getting very difficult to find). I have an idea in progress and some characters being developed. Before I get to far ahead of myself I'm going to spend some time creating a basic flowchart so I don't get to lost.
If anyone skills and want to help, I can be reached on discord @.Robitron.
Hi, everyone! My name is Alice, and I am the creator of Cryptic Paw! I plan to focus on 3D platforming games that bring back the nostalgia of early platformers, but I also want to dabble in creating some horror and RPG games as well. I definitely have notebooks filled with engaging stories and level design sketches lining my shelves, so I'm trying to learn Unity to make my games a reality. I actually have degrees in Theatre Performance and Mortuary Science, but game design is my true love. I have had a pretty eclectic work experience background, and I'm hoping to make friends in the indie dev community who I can follow and who will want to follow me :)
I am most active on Instagram, so if you're interested in being my friend or following me, you can find me at @crypticpaw.official .
I hope to be creating things with all of you soon!
Hello All!

Hey guys, I'm Bynary Fission! I'm currently developing the Action RPG Battle Tower Royale. I'm the sole programmer, artist, animator, writer, and composer for the game. I draw a lot of influence from the Legend of Zelda, Baldur's Gate, and Diablo series in making this game, and it's all wrapped up in an old-school art and sound design. New updates are being made constantly!
I'm glad to be able to meet the rest of you all!
Greetings! I'm Mr. Toontastic.
I'm a cartoonist around these parts of the web. I like to draw, write, and create colorful stories with strange characters. I mostly dabbled my hands in more free-form webcomics, but I wanted to try something different and write novels. I have a couple on my page already, which you can find here: Goon Toon Books!
It's nice to meet you all!

Hello i'm 2T (Doidet). I'm a small hobby game developer. Since 2020 i've become very interested in this world so i tried to learn online the basics of programming etc... Now i use Construct 2 to make my games and i'm currentily working on my first small COMPLETE game called: "Mission Raccon". If you want to follow the Devlog: https://itch.io/profile/doidet
I hope that i'll be able to complete this game (because i'm a procastinator and lazy).
Hey everyone! I'm an indie game developer, I create most of the things myself. What I love most is narrative games, and storytelling is always the most important thing to me. So if you like this kind of stuff, come visit me, maybe you will find something that will interest you. Every feedback is worth its weight in gold! :D All the best!
Hey people! I'm an indie game developer whos currently pursuing my master studies in game dev. My disciplines are programming and writing and a little bit of design. Naturally i love playing games too with my favorites being Dragon Age Origins, Mass effect trilogy, Wticher 3, DQ XI, FFT, Tactics Ogre, Fire Emblem etc.
Heya everyone, name’s Lucio, right now on my last semester of getting my Computer Science degree. I’ve wanted to get into game design for as far back as I can remember, been making some small board games as a hobby for the past 3~ years and reading a lot of books on game design, but I’ve been consistently terrified of actually trying to dip my toes into game jams.
Every time I’d think if it I’d be enveloped by a dreadful sense of “oh god what if I don’t know enough, what if I pull down my team, I have to be reliable.” Hopefully I’ll mange to force myself into a jam this year, kicking and screaming all the while, but as long as I manage to get over this mental barrier I’d consider it a win.

Hello! My name is Sam Hadding, and I am a cartoonist and animator. I also happen to be autistic, so things can be quite difficult sometimes. Nonetheless, I have defied many odds and got better at my cartoon skill as I developed more of my own personal style. The reason I wanted to be an animator and cartoonist is because I wanted to use my creativity to make others feel like they’re having a good time. With that being said, I also found another way spread mh creativity by making games. Originally made as a side gimmick for my website, my game making has spawned a life of its own on Microsoft MakeCode, Scratch, and, now, Itch.IO. Many of my Scratch games might be ported to Itch.IO, but in the meantime, feel free to play some of my games such as Nova Boltstar, a game that marks my Itch.IO debut! Also, the link to my cartoon website is in my profile if you want to check that out too!
Hello there,
This is my first post after just joining this discussion, so please forgive me and provide kind assistance if I have posted to the wrong subsection.
As a new member in this forum and wish to share and gain some knowledge. I am looking forward to create my own discussion to resolve my query and gain some knowledge though I have taken part in various discussion which is definitely helped me a lot.
Also in what category should be taken depends on what factors?
Thankyou in advance.
Hello, I'm Scott, aka Dracomicron.
I am self-publishing Wasteland Degenerates, a Mork- and Cy_Borg compatible RPG, via BackerKit crowdfunding (the campaign is in June). I also released a solo micro RPG set in the same universe, Enter the Dismal Armory, which you can find on this site!
I have been gaming since probably 1983 and have played a variety of systems over the years. I especially like Demon: the Fallen, AD&D 2e: Planescape, Gamma World, and Starfinder, but the Mork Borg-o-sphere has caught my interest of late.
I'm brand new to semi-pro game design, though I've been GMing for decades and have a pretty good idea of what works and what doesn't. Even if I'm wrong, though, I'll learn something from it and do it better next time!
Hello, I'm Off-Leveled Pixels.
How are you all doing today?
This is my first community post despite having been around this site since last year. I'm sorry about that.
I've currently published (so far) two short games on this site. And currently, my focus is to continue making more small games to build up my portfolio and improve my game development skills. I'm still more or less an amateur.
Honestly, I've only become interested in video games recently, due to ones like The Wild at Heart by Moonlight Kids. Because of that, I started looking into 2D game development more, since the class that I had for it back in college was only two sessions.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself. God bless.
Hi! I'm ElOctopus Makes Games and...I make games!

I also like to make some devlogs to show my development progress!
Then I want you to know that I'm looking to expand my followers! So if you will follow me, I will follow you back! I think taht it's a way to help eachother!

Hello, new guy here. I thought I try this site. After watching lots of vids from markiplier I keep hearing about this site so I got curious. Currently I have almost zero knowledge in making games. Know a few bits but thats about it. Lets see if this gets anywhere if not how is this place and the games out there. Guess time will tell. Just so you know I am an oddball please dont mind me. All I have made til now is just a few vids on youtube. The less common themes and tunes I love that plays in the background in a lot of games. Guess you could call those tracks in the ambient genre. I hear alot of good tracks from indie games too. Anyways, lets try this.
Cheers folks!
Hi, I came to itch.io quite some time ago. Showed off some work-in-progress games, but they weren't real good in terms of quality, and had lots of bugs. I worked at learning programming a bit better after that, and finished a game and released it on itch. The game was a platforming game, but I'm also starting to find myself having an interest in making a visual novel game - creating side projects to "test the waters" before the potential to start a large project of it.
I have a lot of ideas, and not all of them make it to "release" stages, but I feel it makes the ideas that do make it, all the more better.
I just published the demo of my game called Absence of Light, it's an action rpg, it is inspired by soulslike games, try it and give feedback. It's also on Steam in case you rather play there.

Hello, my name is Max and I'm a 3D artist! For the last three months, I've been learning programming, video editing, sound design, game design, and more. So, I'm excited to tell you that today I finally released my off-road horror game where your main goal is to escape a deep, dark forest and survive! I hope you enjoy it! It would be nice if you could rate and comment on my game: https://wnight.itch.io/scp-offroad.
Hi! My name is MoonyInspired and i do a whole lotta things. I am a student in brazil, 19 years, and after i started going into ttrpgs i started also creating games! Now i have two of them, which isnt much but i am proud. I speak portuguese, english and i am trying to learn mandarin.
Most of my creations will probably be shorter games, specially TTRPG systems, but they all have my own touch. I like to make things different and break the patterns we see all around so playing my games will never be the same as playing any other, at least thats what i try to achieve. I do the styling, writing and translation of all of my games, and i never use AI to illustrate. The art in my games will always be made by real people.
I am also, in general, a writer. I have published poetry and chronics but not in english. I hope we can all know ourselves a little better!!

Brand new VGM composer here! Only been in the industry for about 2 months now, and I got chosen by an awesome game developer to write music for his side-scrolling Mecha beat-em up!
Also, I joined my first ever jam, the OST Composing Jam #7!
Looking to link with composers and share what I've learned as well as receive some tips from others.

Hello! I'm Elena and I'm a self-taught game developer. I use Unreal Engine to make my games. I've finished one game and I'm making one called 'nameless warrior' (My devlog is in the community page). I love creating games with a story and my dream is to be a successful game developer and writer. I have a few social media accounts and they are linked on my profile.
Hey! Ultracool.
I'm Rodion, I'm less cool. I am a level designer, but currently work nowhere: just graduated (school) this year. I make something experimental I call music, zines and stuff. I'm also planning and writing games and zines for the future. I'm hosting a podcast and doing stuff. Love itch and it's community. I think we're cool.
Hello fellow game developers,
My name is Alena, I am an expert artist and user interface developer with 10+ years of experience! It's nice to meet you all
I've been working on:
- League of Legends (Riot Games)
- EVE Online (CCP Games)
- Disney Wonderful Worlds (Jam City)
- Pathfinder: Kingmaker (Owlcat Games)
- and other small mobile games here and there.
Lately I've been increasingly drawn to collaborating with independent developers, helping them refine their projects. Each project is like a child you nurture and cherish, and I approach every game with special care and excitement!
That's why I decided to set up my own Game UI/UX studio and invite like-minded people to join. Being a studio owner isn't easy, but I'm doing everything I can to support my colleagues and collaborate with indie developers.
You can check out my studio's website at: https://www.dismantle.studio/
I am looking forward for collaborating with each of you and see how I can be helpful.
Best,
Alena.

I should've introduced myself years ago, but I only found out recently itch has forums so here I am.
Hi I'm Rosie Ultraviolett and I make video games but I also do animating, art, music, voice acting, writing, singing and a bit of 3D modelling because I have too many hobbies. I'm more active on Newgrounds but I upload all my games on here too because itch is cool and has a lot of game jams. I tend to make visual novel styled games in Godot with the help of the Dialogic plugin and I love doing everything myself as I'm a bit of a control freak.
Intro concluded!
Hi guys,
I'm wpgr and, most of the time, I drink beer and play games. Unemployed, for now, so I have all the time for that.
Besides, I own a bachelor in Game Design and also an AAA in 3D Animation, plus some basics in JavaScript.
I love the concept of GB Studio and I'm planning to learn it at 100% in order to craft my own game.
Cheers,

Hello there... I am an illustrator from Chile, and now I decided to start in videogames...
I have a youtube channel too, but I don't want to mix it with my nsfw games, so I prefer not to say the name of the channel.
I have been working in secret for 6 months, except for my girlfriend, a few friends and family members who know something.
Since I like to dedicate myself to video games, I'm thinking of studying programming next year, I'm pretty old but it's never too late to learn.
Hey yall, I'm Joe (YN_Tiger)
I'm a Game Design graduate student from New Hampshire. I have a couple RPG Maker Projects I've been working on over the past few years. It's been an on and off kind of deal with me, due to life and the occasional writers block. I'm proud of them but I should finish them first. Haven't had much direct feedback on one of my projects. (Particularly about it's balance. It was well received though according to the E-sports Director.) I submitted it as my senior project. My school had a booth at PAX East 2022 through 2024 where it was on display. If you played Silver Legends: Origin at the NEC Booth, that's my project. Please DM me with any feedback you had! (I'll likely be putting up the current version I have of it with an extended demo that will go through the following Chapter as well within the next week or two.)
If i had to say what I'm better at in Game design, it's story writing, character concepts, designs, how characters combat flows and working with audio. But
I've been struggling to get a position in this industry post college, or any position in general beyond a generic store job. But I also am trying to overcome the shyness (or anxiety) of sharing my more work publicly.
Update: It's up now!
Hello! I joined Itch to participate in the recent one-page RPG jam, and ended up submitting a one-page RPG about traveling the Multiversal Library System via word association. I plan to release other content too, and have written some stuff for DayLITE Publications as well. I like SFF + Horror, games in general, and cats
Hello, tesselode (and everone else),
2D games and music is what I basically do aswell. Mainly with LGBTQ content. Currently I am immersed in a very large project, using an already existing victorian gay romance as an inspiration for a romance simulator. (This is the level of programming I am capable of so far. :-D and I love it)
Is this thing on? 😗🎙️
I'm bard_bytes, hobbyist game developer (LibGDX) and musician (saxophone + piano & electronic music via FL Studio). Joining to connect with other indie devs. Really enjoy developing and playing puzzle games, and try to keep my projects small and experimental.
Hope to see y'all around.
HELLOOO!! I'm sam!
I'm an artist and i enjoy creating stories! I've been playing games for a long time but just know decided to make an account (so i can comment on the games i liked! :>)
I'm also working on a game right now on renpy and am completely new to everything.
i also love games, books, shows, art, comics, music, and basically anything creative or artistic. :D
Hey, I'm Taylor. I've been a musician for 23 years, huge metal head but I'm cultured and ADHD so I make a lot of different music. With that being said, I've been attending Full Sail and it opened my eyes to Sound Design for Video Games and other media. I've found a deep passion for creating sound whether that be one shots, seamless loops for background FX or creating an ambient music track to loop while the game is paused and you're on your phone lol. I'm definitely looking to progress my design skills, network with new people and get this passion turned into a career.
Hello! I hope you're well! We are a Game Development startup that aims to blend Eastern culture with Western standards. We recently launched our website. Have a look and let us know what you liked most.

NEW DEV on a mission to create PIXEL GAMES - 2024
Hi, I'm Noci! I'm 28 years old, and I'm finally chasing my dream of creating my own games.
I'm passionate and ready to put in the hard work. In my spare time, I watch dev videos, read blogs, and take courses to dive deeper into this new hobby.
I also work a 30-hour week as an SEO manager and run two small websites.
If you have any knowledge, tips, tricks, or even coaching to offer, I'd love to hear from you! Just drop me a line—I'm ready to learn.
bi-lingual cabbage patch! 🤢🥶😡 1!!
I am currently working on game(s) but have little to no experience with social media or being super cool online. My background is mostly art history, so I have a hard time finding people who match w/ me. I am no snob but tend to be. Gaming has been a hobby of mine that I want to take seriously with many more intelligent people. Thanks~😽
Hi all,
I’ve been teaching myself to develop in Unity and learning C# and modeling in Blender. On and off for the past few years, I’ve been developing a point and click style 3D dungeon crawler (think like graphics and gameplay from the original Ultima Underworld minus the RPG elements and combat combined with Day of the Tentacle and Gabriel Knight). The game is probably 90% complete and I’m hoping this is the year I get the final polish done.

Hi! I'm David, or Drendur! I work with an anime company doing project management and Business Development. I just discovered Itch yesterday as I was searching for opensource game assets to make a demo game for the company I work with. I'm looking for assets, inspiration, partners, and of course, deals!
Since it is my first time making a game, I have SOOOOO many questions but look forward to meeting more of you on the timeline.
Hello Everyone, I can't believe I am doing the intro thing because I am so bad at it. In person I am even worse at it. I just sit there thinking, "How do I respond like a normal human . . . how do I respond like a normal human . . ." ha
My name is Eric Savon. I am a jack of all trades and so far a master of nothing. I am an actor, writer, youtuber, streamer, video editor/filmmaker, artist, and English Professor, ESL Instructor, tutor, and instructional designer. What does that last one mean? It means I design and develop courses for online classes and traditional in-person ones as well.
I guess I am about to add game dev to my list because I have always wanted to make my own game. So, here's to my first step in a long, long journey of learning. Happy to connect with all of you.
Other socials just in case you want to connect there. Twitter Instagram, FacebookPage if you're a boomer like me.
